CSKT Reserved Water Rights Compact

After a decade of planning and hearing remotely about something is “up” with the water, we are getting down to the line for real “action”. The public needs to respond to these meetings and voice their opinions and concerns. And their concerns are well founded with over 1000 pages of proposals comprising the (Consolidated Salish-Kootenai Tribes) CSKT Reserved Water Rights Compact finally ready for submission for public input and then vote by the upcoming MT state legislative session in Helena. If passed there it will go to the U.S. Congress where public input will receive greatly reduced attention.
The water rights of all citizens and businesses in 11 western Montana counties, west of the Continental Divide are involved. Federal, State and Tribal officials have been diligently working on this involving numerous high salaried lawyers and other professionals with monetary interests. If we value our water, our land values, our personal economic futures, and the economy of our counties and state, it would behoove us to become informed of what this proposed compact (contract/agreement) entails. Decisions now being made will determine the manner in which our water is to be regulated, managed, recorded and controlled and by WHOM. For more details please refer to the website shown below.

Think before you Vote

Local elections hold immense meaning, especially now with the ideologies and philosophies on the proper role of government in our everyday lives polarized between a) obedient compliance and resigned dependency on one hand, and b) personal responsibility and self reliance on the other. I like to think of it as: a) is the left hand, and b) the right hand.

I believe that Americans are ingrained with a sense of independence; they believe they are free to act and do as they please with their own lives and personal property. We are all indebted to those fine fellows who, in the mid to late 1770’s and 1780’s codified those precepts, in the documents that established this unique constitutional republic [which some now misidentify as a democracy] – the Declaration of Independence, the Federalist Papers, and ultimately the U.S. Constitution and the First Ten Amendments [Bill of Rights] - without which they would not have established unanimous support for Federalism. These documents CLEARLY spelled out our inalienable rights to liberty and freedom, and specified narrow limits that make ‘any’ government ‘good’, Federal or state. The U.S. Constitution protects the rights of all the States’ citizens from the tyranny of oppressive government.

Today, government and its agencies are everywhere in our lives, injected into our communities, our backyards, our homes, and how we raise our children. These policies come not from our founding principles, but from foreign concepts promulgated as ‘progressive’ and ‘for the common good’ and ‘globally beneficial’ – feel good collectivist jargon to help make the propaganda easier to swallow. I for one think this far out of line with the philosophy of freedom, liberty, personal responsibility and self reliance which I hold as my guide; that’s me, on the right hand.

The purpose of this letter is to encourage voters in our area to reflect seriously, think deeply on what they expect of and from government, and how much latitude, power, and intrusion into their personal lives they are willing to grant to government. Big government and an electorate ignorant of what model limited good government is seem to be the problems we need to correct. We need to elect people who understand and hold dear the principles of liberty and freedom; people who abide by the contents and intent of the principles of liberty outlined in the U.S. Declaration and codified in the U.S. Constitution.

That is why; on my ballot, I am filling in the ovals next to names I know and trust to be honest, and true to the right principles, who hold respect for their neighbors and community, who have shown by words and their actions their dedication to the success and prosperity for all in Sanders County, Montana, and U.S.A.

I 120—Vote FOR requiring parental notification prior to abortion for a minor, providing for judicial waiver of notification, repealing prior statutes and providing penalties.

I 121—Vote FOR denying certain state services to illegal aliens.

I 122—Vote FOR prohibiting the state or federal government from mandating the purchase of health insurance or imposing penalties for decisions related to purchasing health insurance.

I 124—Vote FOR Senate Bill 423, a bill which repeals I-148 and enacts a new medical marijuana program.

I 166—Vote AGAINST charging Montana elected and appointed officials, state and federal, with implementing a policy that corporations are not human beings with constitutional rights*.
*I-166 seeks to impair numerous US Supreme Court decisions that collectively span nearly 200 years. In each case, the Court has consistently, and emphatically, recognized that a corporation has many of the same rights as a natural person. Corporations can buy-sell property, have contracts, be sued and exercise free speech, just like an individual. Therefore, how can we restrict those rights on corporations? Granted some out there do not work in our best interests (Monsanto) but there are those that do. Taking away their "rights" just does not fit within the confines of the Constitution.

Independence Day 2012

Francis Scott Key penned the words that became Our national anthem, the Star-spangled Banner, after witnessing the bombardment of Fort McHenry by the British Royal Navy ships in Chesapeake Bay during the Battle of Fort McHenry in the War of 1812. The War of 1812 set the stage for the several sovereign United States to shine as a legitimate nation and a force to be reckoned with to any who thought they could overthrow or undermine its prosperity of spirit. The anthem written during that bombardment would not become our National Anthem for more than a century! Yet its spirit has been our guide through two centuries.

The draw in 1814 happened where just over a quarter century before a rag-tag bunch of upstart colonies dared to declare themselves independent of tyranny, and went on to win their revolution, seen at least by old, established European countries' royalty and their allies within the colonies, as nothing more than a brief tantrum giving the sovereign United States its "fifteen minutes of fame". That it truly had the stamina to sustain a government founded on good and noble principles as freedom and liberty for all its citizens was not taken by the royalist world to be realistic, nor did the old world think it would last. At the close of the Constitutional Convention of 1787, when queried as he left Independence Hall on the final day of deliberations, “A lady asked Dr. Benjamin Franklin ‘Well Doctor what have we got a republic or a monarchy?’ ‘A republic, replied the Doctor, if you can keep it.’” [Dr. James McHenry, a Maryland delegate to the Convention]

What the war of 1812 did was to show that citizens of several sovereign States, united, took their Constitution seriously, their rights as inviolate, and its limitation on government to heart. Their nation and its statutes were worthy of fighting and dying for, as those principles enunciated in the Declaration of Independence were embedded in each American citizen as righteous claim to life itself. The winning of the War of 1812 - or at least to a standstill with 3 powerful groups (Canada, Britain, and Tecumseh's tribes) - proved that the nation was not a "flash in a pan", but rather a strong and lasting force, willing to die for more than mere possessions and wealth. It was a war to prove the lasting intent of a people to cherish freedom, with no option for less. It was a war that showed the nation’s fifteen minutes was truly longer-lasting, and would not only survive, but thrive for the next two hundred years, and hopefully forever.

Now, it is 2012, and that noble-minded two hundred year reign appears to have reached its end. Its citizens, especially those currently populating governments at all levels, either can’t or won’t openly stand to defend principles of liberty that rallied our forefathers to expend their wealth and blood in its creation, risking their very lives by signing a Declaration of Independence, which had they failed was signed confession to treason, punishable by death.

We have, in the intervening 2 centuries since the end of that War of 1812, allowed ourselves to be, in all practical senses, reduced to serfs, abdicating hard-won rights to tyrants and their "officials" who rob our equity for their own power and livelihoods, forced back to an existence prior to when the Barons forced King John to sign the Magna Carta in 1215. In short, we are fast becoming dependent slaves to federal agencies and their unctuous "officials" whose hands are tied, cowering before over-bearing government, and ultimately to the foreign, UN-Globalist [Agenda 21 - http://www.un.org/esa/sustdev/documents/agenda21/english/Agenda21.pdf ] tyranny so many seem to think is humanity and the earth's "salvation". Tragedy worthy of Shakespeare!

Open letter to Senate and Congress

Gentlemen, if you be so:

We are sick and tired of y'all "going along to get along" regarding fraud, waste, and abuse in the Federal government. It is time for you 3 to "fish, or cut bait".

It HAS already happened here, in the USA, as evidenced by the convictions of former ACORN members recently, and a half century ago in Tennessee [links below] - ALWAYS, seemingly, from government or government-funded "employees" - many originally elected to protect us from such disgusting behavior!

But, at least once, from 'THE PEOPLE' - aside from Lexington, Concord and hundreds of battle fields in the 1770's, 1810's, and 1860's, and myriad unnamed skirmishes throughout the land... IT HAPPENED IN 1946. YOU decide what the norm should be, then kindly let us know where YOU stand.

What we witnessed in 1968 Chicago, was unconscionable on the part of feces-throwing anarchists-of-the-left whose purpose was to "fix" an election for Bobby Kennedy; and, what happened in Chicago 2012 from thugs hired and/or inspired by Obama and his host of thugs, to disrupt otherwise peaceful meetings, who threw urine on "law enforcement personnel", and who went into eaters to beat people with hammers and night sticks, all to "effect" more of the phony "change" Obama promoted in 2008, is equally unconscionable. It is additionally unconscionable for ANYONE running to represent the United States Constitution to advocate "fundamental change" of the very country that relies on that Constitution. Fundamentally changing America means nothing short of destroying our founding documents, without which and without support for, the United States itself does not, and will not, exist.

And I hold YOU three responsible for not doing your Constitutional jobs, to control the executive via the "power of the purse" and the "power to impeach" every single one of his rogue appointees. You, in the Senate, should be ashamed for approving of them in the first place.

WHEN are you going to impeach the fraud in the White House [or barring impeachment being applicable to a usurper, arrest his ass and try him at least for fraud, if not for treason]. The power rests in your hands and minds and hearts to "do the right thing". Will you? Have you no courage?!

Obama and his "friends" and appointees are guilty at least of fomenting and inciting riot! Aside from his other frauds [lying about who set up Seal Team 6 for example being the most egregious], the man is proving to be a fraud in many other areas, an outright liar at the very least.

As a sitting Senator of the United States, and before, Obama "created of the whole cloth" a series of lies, including a fictitious girl friend, and other frauds to sell his books, and tell his NON-EXISTENT story... As late as 2007, his own team was admitting that he was "born in Kenya" - a blatant disqualifier to be living in "the peoples' White House". FRAUD. Thus, from law passed by Congress, many moons ago, Obama should be arrested, charged, and convicted:
18 USC § 1001 - Statements or entries generally [in part]

(a)Except as otherwise provided in this section, whoever, in any matter within the jurisdiction of the executive, legislative, or judicial branch of the Government of the United States, knowingly and willfully

(1)falsifies, conceals, or covers up by any trick, scheme, or device a material fact;

(2)makes any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or representation; or

(3)makes or uses any false writing or document knowing the same to contain any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or entry;

shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 5 years or, if the offense involves international or domestic terrorism (as defined in section 2331), imprisoned not more than 8 years, or both. If the matter relates to an offense under chapter 109A, 109B, 110, or 117, or section 1591, then the term of imprisonment imposed under this section shall be not more than 8 years.

So, here is a re-enactment of what happened in Athens, Tennessee, in fall 1946, because "government" (elected and appointed) were defrauding and tyrannizing the people.

Again, YOU decide which America we shall have. The POWER to enact "general" laws relative to the limitations imposed in the US Constitution rests SOLELY in "a Congress" composed of two houses. It does NOT rest in the President, nor in sheriffs, nor in corrupt mayors, nor in courts of law whether of original jurisdiction or not...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5ut6yPrObw&feature=youtu.be

http://www.americanheritage.com/content/battle-athens  - where the news of the "Battle of Athens, Tennessee" was first published [1946]

We, the people of the united STATES in America, are exhausted by the fraudulent, deceitful, over-bearing regulatory time-wasting that YOU in Congress create. ALL levels and houses of government, EVERY agency of government (lawful or not), needs to re-examine the US Constitution, specifically noting what is, and what is not, permitted.
If you will not do YOUR duties by us, we WILL exercise our right, with arms if necessary - as was lawfully done in Athens, Tennessee.
YOU decide how you want the USA to look in the eyes of the world: let frauds vote dead people, vote more than once, cheat, lose honest ballots, find phony ballots, prevent military voters their franchise... the list is legion, and it is time for this stupidity that passes itself off as elitist intelligence to stop.
Do your jobs!

Sincerely,
Jim Greaves

Redistricting in Montana

All this back and forth about districting is political party showboating and manipulation of the power of individuals to self determine.

The political boundaries are already in place – County boundaries!

Gerrymandering around certain populations and voting proclivities [Community Plan] - guaranteeing majorities in perpetuity to selected concentrations of population - is in direct conflict with our Constitutional guarantee of a Republican form of government.

So Which is is and which will it be?

So Which is is and which will it be?

If President Obama didn't know about "Fast & Furious", he and his Attorney General Eric Holder are guilty of gross negligence and both should be fired.

If President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder knew about "Fast & Furious", [which everyone knows they did], they both need to be prosecuted for treason.

So Which is is and which will it be?
